About Us

Our rescue was started in October of 2013 by Kelly Austin, while it has grown since day one, we are still small and privately owned. Our dogs come from various backgrounds, some as simple as owner surrenders, and some having gone through fighting rings, and being neglected and abandoned. We do our best to pull dogs from overcrowded shelter systems in Arizona, California and Texas, and transport them to Washington State and British Columbia, Canada in order to give them a second chance at a forever home.

We have also remained privately funded, and are a non 501(c) rescue, that relies solely on donations, and on our wonderful volunteers to spread the word and help organize events. We cover all costs related to rescuing and caring for our animals until they find their new families. Please see our Adoptions/Fosters page for more information on the things we provide once they go to their foster to adopt homes.

We are a completely honest and open rescue, and we would be happy to answer any and all of your questions on past, present and future dogs that our rescue has, as well as how all of our donations and funds are distributed.

We would like to thank you all for your continued support in helping us become a succesful rescue!

Our Mission

Our mission is to rescue puppies and dogs from overpopulated high kill shelters and give them the opportunity to have a second chance at life in either a foster or permanent home in the Pacific Northwest.

We do our best to give as much information about each puppy/dog as possible, but we can only provide what we know from the shelter information provided to us. Please visit our Facebook page to see more current puppies/dogs that are available and being brought up to us. We will also update each puppy/dogs page on Facebook with their personalities and quirks as we learn them while spending time with each of them.

Saving one dog may not change the world, but it changes the world for that one dog
